PepPod teams up with NCTTA for the Championships
By Willy Leparulo
These days it seems that PepPod is everywhere in the College Table Tennis and general table tennis world. PepPod currently sponsors the University of Colorado at Boulder Table Tennis (CUTT) Team with jerseys and logos. They also have sponsored team training with the Denver Table Tennis aligning with the great Richard McAfee at Sky High Table Tennis.
The CUTT Team and PepPod are teaming up to host a tournament and exhibition at the rec center to promote table tennis and PepPod.
Sam Huang, NCTTA’s Marketing Chair and Board member states, “It is great to have PepPod involved as they are high energy and passionate and exactly what College Table Tennis is all about.”
Speaking about high energy, PepPod produces a small, individually packaged effervescent tablet that combines over 75 vitamins and minerals with 80 mg of caffeine – about the same amount in a cup of coffee!
PepPod is currently sponsoring Kevin Korb out of USC, who works as a brand promoter and PepPod personality at NCTTA, USATT, and SPiN events. All those that know Kevin, know his middle name ought to be “high energy”.
PepPod and NCTTA have recently teamed up to sponsor the NCTTA Photo Contest pitting College Table Tennis teams to take a plethora of photos featuring a table tennis match without paddles with the winning school taking home PepPod Swag and NCTTA gifts!
Weston Trapp, PepPod’s company executive says, “PepPod is very grateful for our partnership thus far this year and we are looking forward to continued involvement in the future.”
The 2015 TMS College Table Tennis Championships is hosted by the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association and the Visit Eau Claire and is one of the premier table tennis tournaments in North America featuring 6 events: Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, and Men’s/Coed Teams, Women’s Teams.
