Set Your Clocks BACK 1 Hour to End Daylight Savings Time

Don't forget that most of the United States will be ending Daylight Savings time at 2:00am on Sunday, Nov 1st.

It's a good habit to change your clocks back late Saturday night before going to bed.

This is particularly useful for the NCTTA Divisions that compete this weekend, Sunday, November 1st (NYC Uptown & Downtown).

NCTTA Team Event at 2015 Nationals

USATT AND NCTTA PARTNER TO HOST TEAM CHALLENGE AT 2015 NATIONALS

First NCTTA Team Challenge To Take Place On Saturday, December 19th

October 12, 2015 (Colorado Springs, CO) – USA Table Tennis (USATT) and the National Collegiate Table Tennis Association (NCTTA) announced today that they have joined forces to host the first “NCTTA Team Challenge” at the 2015 USATT National Championships in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, December 19, 2015. This will mark the first time that USATT and the NCTTA have partnered to offer this opportunity for students, alumni and faculty to compete in a team format at the US National Championships.

“The USATT National Championships is the biggest domestic table tennis tournament of the year, so it only seemed natural to work with Willy and the team at NCTTA to incorporate collegiate table tennis into the event,” commented USATT CEO Gordon Kaye. “The NCTTA represents one of the table tennis communities in the United States, and we are excited to be partnering with them to offer an opportunity to bring their community together at Nationals.”

“NCTTA is committed to developing opportunities for our student-athletes, alumni and faculty to continue to participate in the sport during and after their collegiate careers,” added Willy Leparulo, President of NCTTA. “With the US National Championships being held in Las Vegas, we believe this is a great chance for our community to come together, play some competitive table tennis, and have some fun.”

The team format event, which will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center on Saturday, December 19th (first match is at 10am), will be open to students and faculty from a current NCTTA Member school, or alumni from any US, Canadian or Puerto Rican schools that participated in College Table Tennis  (NCTTA) or (ACUI) competition. Teams will compete in a 5-match format (4 singles, 1 doubles) beginning with round-robin play and concluding with a single-elimination draw. All NCTTA Team Challenge participants are invited to a welcome reception on Friday night from 7-9pm at Brooklyn Bowl on the LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas.

Why Waste an Additional $100 in Late Fees?

The DEADLINE for avoiding late fees is October 1st.  The late fee this year is $100.  That's $100 you could be using for your trip to the Regionals or even the National Championships...why waste it by being late on your team registration.

If you have already registered your team, but did not pay at that moment, then use this link http://www.danserver.com/nctta/MemberApp2.asp to go directly to the payment page and skip re-entering your information.

If you have special circumstances that need to be considered or your school requires an invoice to be sent, then you MUST contact treasurer@nctta.org to discuss BEFORE the October 1st deadline.

Something to consider...

  • Pay with your own credit card before Oct 1st to avoid the late fee and have treasurer@nctta.org refund your money when the school payment finally arrives
